Updated: 08/26/2014 - The victim's family was not told about the parole hearing even though they are supposed to get the chance to tell the board their thoughts and feelings. The reason, according to the parole board spokesperson, was human error. "In 2007, the hard copy files were transferred to electronic files and somehow in the midst of that, our information was not transferred," Amanda Jones explained.

Run With All Your Hart race allows woman's memory to live on

Just two months after her death a charity race was started in Sarah Hart's honor, and nearly three thousand people took part. Most Wanted: Hunt for suspect in Lexington murder

Updated: 07/25/2014 - Officials say Anthony Carter was shot on Chestnut Street in Lexington on June 11. Police said he was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries. Officials said not long after the shooting, police started getting statements from witnesses who saw Jefferey Morris in an argument with the victim before the shooting. They then saw him leaving the scene on a bicycle.
