Iraqi police say 6 guards killed in ambush

BAGHDAD (AP) - More killings in Iraq, a day after a string of attacks in at least 13 cities left 56 people dead.

Six members of a government-allied Sunni militia were killed in an ambush northeast of Baghdad today.

Iraq's foreign minister says insurgents are trying to cause as much chaos as possible, as lawmakers struggle to form a new government and Americans withdraw troops.
