1 killed, 4 wounded in latest Yemen protest

SANAA, Yemen (AP) - A hospital official in Yemen says security forces opened fire during clashes with anti-government protesters in a southern port city, killing one and wounding four people.
The official says Wednesday's shooting started after protesters in Aden (AY'-den) set up barricades and threw rocks at the troops in an effort to prevent tanks from rolling into the city's main street.
Also Wednesday, tens of thousands are marching in the capital Sanaa and in other provinces to press for the ouster of longtime President Ali Abdullah Saleh (AH'-lee ahb-DUH'-luh sah-LEH') and his prosecution.
The protesters have rejected a proposal by Gulf Arab countries for Saleh to transfer power to his deputy and have immunity from prosecution.
