Comedian Tim Wilson dead at 52

Multiple sources are reporting that comedian Tim Wilson has died.

NASHVILLE, TN. (WKYT) - Comedian and musician Tim Wilson has died, he was 52 years old.

Wilson made several appearances at Lexington's Comedy Off Broadway and on WKYT.

Wilson was also a frequent guest on the Bob and Tom Show. They tweeted this morning saying, "Regular listeners to this show know that Tim Wilson was a friend and a brother to all of us at the Bob & Tom Show."

In 2011 he appeared on CMT's Ron White's Comedy Salute to the Troops.

White sent out a Tweet early this morning saying his good friend had died of an apparent heart attack.

White says Wilson's brother was by his side in Nashville when he died.
