SEOUL, South Korea (AP) - Officials in South Korea say nearly 300 people are still missing following the sinking of a ferry off the country's southern coast.

Officials say more than 470 people were on the vessel when it started sinking today.

At least two people are confirmed dead, but officials say about 295 people are unaccounted for.
