Iran to free jailed American journalist

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) - The lawyers for a jailed U.S. journalist in
Iran says her eight-year prison term has been reduced and suspended
and she'll be freed today.
Roxana Saberi, a 32-year-old dual American-Iranian national, was
convicted last month of spying for the U.S. and sentenced to eight
years in prison. An appeals court heard her case on Sunday.
Her lawyer says Iran's judiciary informed him of the decision
today. He tells The Associated Press that Saberi will be "released
today."
