At least four dead as suicide bombers launch attack in east Afghanistan

KABUL (AP) - An Afghan official says multiple suicide bombers
have attacked government buildings in eastern Afghanistan, killing
at least four people.
Interior Ministry spokesman Zemeri Bashary says the bombers
attacked government offices in Khost city. A large U.S. military
base, Camp Salerno, is also in the city.
Bashary says top officials were unharmed, and the bombers did
not get inside the buildings.
Bashary says U.S. and Afghan forces were searching Khost city
for any remaining militants involved in the attack.
