VIENNA (AP) - Journalist Roxana Saberi is paying tribute today
to those who supported her during her time in captivity in Iran on
She arrived in Vienna, Austria and plans to take some time to
come to terms with her ordeal.
Saberi, a 32-year-old dual Iranian-American citizen, arrived in
Vienna with her parents and a friend early today.
Saberi was convicted of spying after a brief, closed-door trial
in Iran and was sentenced to eight years in prison.
Saberi spent four months in prison. She was freed Monday and
reunited with her parents after an appeals court reduced her
sentence to a two-year suspended sentence.
