At least 98 dead in Indonesia crash

MAGETAN, Indonesia (AP) - Indonesian authorities now say at
least 98 people were killed in today's crash of a military plane
carrying troops and their families.
Two people on the ground are among those killed when the nearly
30-year-old C-130 crashed into a row of houses and burst into
flames.
Fifteen people survived the crash. Many of those injured have
severe burns.
It's not clear what caused the crash, but a man working in a
nearby rice field was one of several witnesses who described seeing
the plane's right wing fall off when it was still in the air. The
farmer says he also heard at least two big explosions and saw
flashes of light inside the plane.
