Police say 8 dead in suspected US strikes

ISLAMABAD (AP) - Officials in Pakistan say U.S. missiles may be
behind a deadly bombing that targeted possible hideouts of a
Taliban commander.
At least eight people are dead. An official says the death toll
may rise as villagers dig through the rubble.
Pakitani intelligence officials report the target was a Taliban
training center near the Afghanistan border. There's also word that
four missiles were fired at two sites. Authorities say as many as
two dozen people may have been wounded.
