Health and Human Services Secretary KathleenSebelius (seh-BEEL'-yuhs) says the Obama administration is open to suggestions on paying for a major health care overhaul - as long as they don't increase the federal deficit. Sebelius was to testify before a House committee Wednesday morning to encourage Democratic efforts to finalize health care legislation. She'll also make clear that President Barack Obama
expects them to deliver. Her appearance in Congress comes as Democrats there struggle with the projected cost of covering 50 million uninsured Americans: more than $1 trillion over 10 years. In prepared remarks for the hearing, Sebelius indicates that the administration is flexible on taxing employer-provided health benefits.
