KABUL (AP) - The military says four U.S. troops have died in Afghanistan, after a bombing yesterday. That brings to 25 the number of American service members killed in the country this month.
Meanwhile, four Afghans have been killed in a gunbattle between militants and a joint international-Afghan force. At least two of the four appear to have been civilians.
And a U.N.-backed panel says it's all but completed its investigation into voter fraud in the August presidential election. Afghanistan's ambassador to the U.S. says he expects a second round of voting will be required.
