2 American troops killed in Afghanistan; 4 Afghan police also dead

KABUL (AP) - NATO says two U.S. service members have been killed in eastern Afghanistan.

The international coalition says the two American troops died Wednesday in a bomb blast. No other details were disclosed.

Their deaths bring to 12 the number of American troops killed in Afghanistan so far this month.

Sixteen other soldiers from the international coalition have also been killed this month.

There's also word that four Afghan National policemen have died in a separate blast. A civilian was also killed.
