Gingrich: Cain handling allegations well, so far

WASHINGTON (AP) - Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich says rival Herman Cain has handled the sexual harassment allegations against him well so far. But Gingrich is unsure what would happen if more accusations surface.
Gingrich, a former GOP House speaker, says Cain seems to have satisfied most people so far by his explanations.
Cain has denied accusations from four women about alleged incidents a decade ago.
Gingrich also tells CBS' "Early Show" that Texas Gov. Rick Perry's embarrassing presidential debate performance Wednesday, when he forgot one of the three Cabinet agencies he would abolish, could have happened to anyone.

Good to see these debates are so popular. I watched the first hour and thought the panel did a great job. First time I witnessed a moderator debating a member of the panel. Newt still stands out as the most qualified. If Obama was in Cains place he would be yelling racism.

Newt is by far the sharpest on in the group. He is the only one who can hold his own with Obama. Can he overcome his personal shortcomings? I thought Perry was the one but have changed my mind. Also, are we going to have a Republican debate every week until November 2012? I hope not.
