LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - A Louisville museum is unveiling a new exhibit that examines the world's most enduring mythological creatures from around the world.
The Frazier History Museum's "Mythic Creatures" exhibit opened Saturday in a 7,500-square-foot space in the downtown museum. It is produced by the American Museum of Natural History, and it traces the origins of the creatures that are still talked about in present times.
It includes a 17-foot-long dragon with a 19-foot wingspan, a 10-foot tall unicorn and a kraken with tentacles that rise from the floor.
The museum says the exhibit is appropriate for children ages 4 and up and runs through Sept. 15.
