Obama praises Joplin's resiliency after tornado

JOPLIN, Mo. (AP) - President Barack Obama is praising the residents of Joplin, Mo., for their resiliency a year after a deadly tornado devastated their town, killing 161 people.

Obama delivered the commencement address Monday at Joplin High School, telling the crowd that the same spirit in Joplin is needed to help rebuild America after nearly four years of economic strife.
