Cincinnati chief building officer Amit Ghosh told city council members on Tuesday that the city will want assurances from federal workplace safety regulators and structural engineers that it's safe for workers to go back to work. The city also wants to be informed before any concrete is poured.
The workers were hurt on Friday when the concrete floor they were pouring at the site of the future Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati gave way.
One worker remains in serious condition.
The collapse occurred weeks after a similar accident at a Cleveland casino with the same developers. They say there's no link between the cases.
