Search efforts pick up at South Korean ferry

SEOUL, South Korea (AP) - Better weather and easing ocean currents are allowing divers searching a South Korean ferry to pick up their efforts to retrieve more bodies.

Earlier today, a civilian diver died after he was pulled from the water unconscious.

He's the first fatality among divers mobilized following the ferry's sinking.

So far 260 people who were on the ferry have been confirmed dead and another 40 are still missing.

Only 174 survived.
