Northeastern Pa. bus crash kills 1, injures others

SCRANTON, Pa. (AP) - A county coroner says a tour bus has struck one of two disabled cars on an interstate highway during an ice storm in northeastern Pennsylvania, killing a 41-year-old man.
Lackawanna County Coroner Tim Rowland tells The Associated Press that the victim was apparently standing outside one of the cars when it was hit by the Martz bus after 11 p.m. Saturday along Interstate 380 in Clifton Township. The impact caused the car to hit the victim.
County 911 Supervisor Michael Kelechowa (kehl-uh-CHOW'-ah) says there were multiple injuries, but the exact number and severity aren't known.
