NEW YORK (AP) - Stocks are opening lower, a day after weak earnings gave them their worst drubbing since November.
Investors have already received a round of earnings reports from Morgan Stanley and other companies along with a new reading on the job market Thursday morning.
Morgan Stanley said its quarterly profit jumped thanks to strong revenues from investment banking.
Financial stocks dragged the market lower Wednesday. The S&P 500 index suffered its largest percentage drop since November.
