People in Fayette and Jessamine Counties asked to help with transportation survey

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - What can be done to improve transportation options in central Kentucky?

That's the question leaders of Fayette and Jessamine Counties are asking you.

The Lexington Area Metropolitan Planning Organization has posted an online survey, asking people to give their opinions on roads, buses, bike lanes, walking trails, and so on.

It will help leaders of Fayette and Jessamine Counties update long-range transportation plans.

"We want to know more about the large system things, how the system connects, and how we can make people safer, and more mobile, and more efficient," Transportation Planning Manager Max Conyers said.

The survey will be online until September 30.
