Boyle County Judge-Executive Harold McKinney says that the county has used its emergency communication system to call about 5,000 people in the downtown area. The message is asking residents to stay away from downtown Danville while the search continues.
Boyle County Sheriff's deputies and the Danville Police department have been actively searching for a gunman following what they are calling a deadly robbery at a Danville pawn shop that left at least one dead Friday morning.
