Lexington Police think intoxicated driver caused crash that injured two people

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Two people were rushed to the hospital Friday night after a crash at a busy intersection that police think was caused by an intoxicated driver.

The crash happened around 9 p.m. on Harrodsburg Road at Lane Allen.

Lexington Police say a truck turned in front of a car, causing the crash.

Police say the two people taken to the hospital have non-life threatening injuries.

Police also say the driver of the truck will be arrested and charged with DUI.

The name of that driver has not been released.
