WHITLEY COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - A deadly crash has shut down southbound Interstate 75 between Williamsburg and the Tennessee state line.
The crash happened around 9 p.m. Tuesday in the southbound lanes at mile marker 7, just south of Williamsburg.
The Whitley County sheriff says one person was killed in the crash, and multiple vehicles were involved.
Investigators say at least four people were injured.
Investigators are still trying to figure out what caused the crash. It was snowing in the area at the time.
The southbound lanes are expected to be closed for hours for crash reconstruction.
Southbound traffic is being detoured off the interstate at Exit 11 in Williamsburg.
