LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Investigators are trying to figure out what caused the driver of a tractor trailer to lose control and crash on Interstate 64 Thursday night.
Police say the semi ran off the eastbound lanes at mile marker 71, near the Fayette-Scott County line.
Police say the driver told them he somehow lost control, and started going off the shoulder.
As he tried to move back onto the road, his load of steel shifted, causing the tractor trailer to crash onto its side.
No one was injured in the crash.
One eastbound lane was closed while emergency crews worked to clean up the crash.
