Two hour standoff in Whitley County

WHITLEY COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) -- Deputies spent two hours in a standoff with a man in Whitley County Wednesday afternoon.

The sheriff says deputies were called to a home on Davenport Lane in Williamsburg for a man threatening to hurt himself.

We're told he refused to come out and deputies spent two hours trying to get him to open.

They eventually forced their way in and found the man unconscious with several guns nearby.

He was taken to Baptist Health in Corbin.
