ARLINGTON, Texas (WKYT) - Saturday night, the Cats will be on the national stage once again in the Final Four. That's nothing new, but something that will be new for you, is watching the game, and listening to locals call it.

WKYT's Rob Bromley and Dave "Buzz" Baker are no stranger to being on the sidelines. The night before the Final Four, they held a dress rehearsal for something totally new for these two and the Big Blue Nation.

"It's something we discussed months and months ago on how to customize the viewing experience for the final four viewer," Scooter Vertino, Executive Producer, V.P. Content, Turner Sports.

It's called a teamcast. Rob will call the Cats game, Buzz will be the sidelines, and former Wildcat, Rex Chapman, will join in as the analyst. It's a new concept that Turner Sports and CBS are experimenting with, to give each team its own flavor in the tournament.

"The folks have been truly committed to giving UK fans the kind of broadcast they would expect to see, not only of a national quality, but with information and interesting they want about their team, hoping we can deliver on our end," says Baker.

Fans know our guys. They are staples when it comes to UK basketball, and being selected from a pool of hundreds across the country to be a part of this first is a true honor.

"To be on nationally, never done a nationally telecast before so I'm really excited about it. It's going to be Kentucky slanted, it will be Kentucky-oriented, there will be cheerleading on it. It will really focus on what the team has done this season," says Bromley.

"I think its going to be something that the more I'm here, the more I experience, the more I wish I was on the other end to hear it," says Chapman.
