LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) - The wait is almost over.
On Saturday, a Louisville amusement park will open its doors for the first time in five years.

"It's been five years in the making," Kentucky Kingdom President and CEO Ed Hart said of the park. "The entire team is so excited about finally presenting the park to the public."
Kentucky Kingdom has 54 rides in all.
The park will open for visitors at 11 a.m. Saturday.
