Graduated Driver License course now being offered online

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WKYT) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet now has a new way for beginning drivers to work towards getting a driver's license.

Anyone with a learner's permit has to take the cabinet's Graduated Driver License course, as part of the process of getting a driver's license.

They would have to take one of the cabinet's classes, take driver's ed in high school, or go to a driver training school.

Now, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is adding an online option, administered by a driver education website.

The online course is $15, and lasts about four hours.

You can check out the course at http://teen.idrivesafely.com/Kentucky/.
