Morgan County Judge Executive files motion to change plea

Morgan County, Kentucky (WKYT/WYMT) It appears Morgan County Judge Executive Tim Conley will plead guilty to several counts of mail fraud, theft and money laundering.

Originally, Conley had pleaded not guilty to the federal charges but a motion filed by his attorney Monday indicates he wants to change his plea.

The US Attorney's office claims Judge Conley accepted gifts and payment from a Salyersville Construction Company in exchange for construction projects to help repair damage from the March 2012 tornado.
