Fleming Co. teacher found not guilty of giving drugs, alcohol to students

FLEMING CO, Ky. (WKYT) - A Fleming County High School teacher was found not guilty by a six person jury according to The Ledger Independent.

State police say a student at the high school told them that Minnie McCord gave him and another teen alcohol and marijuana. In exchange, police say, the teens would work for McCord on her property.

McCord was charged with trafficking marijuana and unlawful transaction with a minor. She was arrested in March.

McCord's trial took place on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. and lasted for two days.

Students, colleagues and McCord's children are reported to have testified in the trial.
