We have another steamy period taking shape across central and eastern Kentucky. Temps continue to run slightly ahead of normal with mid and upper 80s with high humidity levels.
A weak cold front will slide in here this evening and deliver the threat for a few showers and thunderstorms. This action will dive in from north to south into the early part of the overnight.
Readings for Thursday and Friday will be back in the upper 80s with some isolated storms.
The threat for showers and storms will increase as we roll our way into the holiday weekend. This may cause some issues for those outdoor plans.
Much cooler air will blow into town by Tuesday.
