A blast of September air has invaded the bluegrass state and looks to stick around for a while. Highs today couldn't get out of the 70s with lower humidity levels and some sunshine.
More of the same can be expected for Thursday before we head back into the low and middle 80s by Friday.
Another cold front swings into the state on Saturday with scattered showers and thunderstorms. The air moving in behind this front is even cooler than what we have out there now.
Moral of the story... July is ending on a rather cool note across central and eastern Kentucky.
