Arrest made after early morning fire at Danville nursing home

Police have arrested a man after an early morning fire at a Danville Health Care facility.

DANVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) - Police have arrested a man after an early morning fire at a Danville Health Care facility.

Firefighters were dispatched to a fire at Charleston Health Care around 5:30am Monday morning.

Police say the fire started in a structure behind the building.

Employees told police they spotted a person in the building at the time the fire was started. Everyone was able to evacuate the area safely and no injuries were reported.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire with minimal damage to the building.

After some investigation police arrested 22-year-old Daniel Hagen Souleyrette on the scene and charged him with Alcohol intoxication and Burglary. Danville Police are continuing to investigate the incident and say more charges may be filed.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
