More of the muggy stuff is in store for central and eastern Kentucky as we work into the big holiday weekend. Labor Day is known as the unofficial end to summer and it looks like mother nature wants to make it official. We're tracking a cooler change into town for next week.
To get from the steamy air to the nice air... we have to go through rounds of showers and thunderstorms. These rounds will roll across the state as we head into the next several days. The best chance will be from Saturday afternoon through Labor Day. A few strong storms will be possible.
A cold front will clear us out by Tuesday as highs fall way down into the mid to upper 70s.
