FRANKFORT, Ky. (WKYT) - You'll likely have to use your windshield wipers while driving the next few days, and if one state lawmaker has his way your lights better be on.
Representative Mike Denham of Maysville has pre-filed a bill for next year's legislature to require headlights be on in vehicles when the use of windshield wipers are necessary.
The bill would only be for vehicles model year of 2000 or newer.
If approved, there would be a warning period before going into effect.
Fines could range from $20 to $100.
