Bluegrass Fair opens Thursday, organizers offer alt. traffic routes

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - The Annual Bluegrass Fair opens Thursday at Lexington's Masterson Station Park.

This year, the fair comes in the middle of a major construction project along Leestown Road.

Organizers have come up with some alternate routes to help attendees avoid construction.

Fair organizers say you can take Georgetown Road to Spurr Road and come in through the park's back entrance.

You can alternatively follow Old Frankfort Pike to Alexandria Drive to Trailwood Lane to McConnell's Trace to get to the park main entrance.

LexTran is also offering rides to the fair.
