MANCHESTER, Ky. (WKYT) - The arrest citation against Brandon Garrison is two pages long..full of everything from cruelty to animals allegations to threats to kill members of a church congregation.

Relatives say Brandon Garrison's mother became upset when her son became intoxicated.

"I knew he had some beers, they said he had 6. I don't know what else he was on, he's been known to do a few other things," said a relative who didn't want to be identified.

They say Garrison then took a baseball cats to several cats and killed at least two of them.

"We don't want him back out here, doing the same things over and over again. And hurting someone instead of a poor little innocent animal.," she said.

Police say when they showed up he ran off into the woods. After he was captured the citation states he said he had 'snorted enough crystal meth to kill Hitler.' En route to jail..he allegedly talked about killing his entire family, walking into a church and killing all of them...and that he wanted to "off" a police officer.

"We just hope he can get better. And get the help he needs. He actually a good guy but when he gets on that stuff we don't know what he's going to do," said a relative.

WKYT tried to get Garrisons' side of the story from jail but he declined. We spoke to his brother who simply said..'my brother has a very bad drug problem.'
