LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) -- We now know when part of a Lexington courthouse will open after flooding closed the building.
Officials say part of the Fayette Circuit Courthouse it will open on November 4th, but it will be four to six weeks before the rest of it reopens.
The cap on a fourth floor toilet ruptured on Sunday night, leaving a mess behind.
The courthouse has been closed all week while crews repair the building.
In the meantime, circuit court operations were moved to district court and the federal courthouse.
