Coach Cal offers students incentive to attend scrimmage

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - An announcement from Coach Cal has sweetened the pot for students who may not have already purchased their tickets to Tuesday night's blue/white scrimmage game.

14,000 tickets have already been sold for the game and fans seem pretty excited at another chance to see the incoming freshman class in action before the season kicks off. But Coach Cal wants to break a record with attendance and he's hoping to push 15,000 by the time the game starts.

To sweeten the pot for those students who haven't already purchased their tickets, two student names will be randomly drawn at the end of the scrimmage. Coach Cal says he will pay the spring semester tuition for those two UK students.

To sign up for the drawing, have your UK student ID and enter before 7pm.

Gates open at 6pm.
