Colder air continues to push into central and eastern Kentucky. This will set the stage for a night with lows dropping into the mid and upper 20s for many.
The weather for Tuesday and Wednesday looks good with plenty of sunshine. Highs will be in the 40s Tuesday and warm into the low 50s by the middle of the week.
Our next storm system takes aim at the region by late this week into the weekend. A few showers will increase by Thursday with rain becoming likely on Friday. As this system passes by, arctic air will dive in here from the northwest.
That could give us highs in the upper 20s and low 30s by Sunday as lows drop into the teens.
