Strong and severe thunderstorms will be possible late tonight. We'll be tracking strong winds, large hail and even a risk of isolated tornadoes.
Showers continue to slowly pull away from eastern Kentucky this evening. Much cooler and drier air is moving in from the west for the next few days.
Highs for Thursday and Friday will be in the upper 50s to low 60s with a mix of sun and clouds. Winds will be rather gusty and a scattered shower or two may develop on a strong northwesterly wind flow.
Kentucky Derby Saturday looks good with temps nearing 70 under a partly sunny sky.
A very warm pattern is likely to develop as we head into next week. Highs may reach the low to middle 80s for the middle of the week.
