A Boyle County man starts out a victim of a crime but shortly after becomes the suspect of another crime.

"We left out of here and I saw five Boyle County Police Cars and I didn't know what had happened," says Steven Cooper, a neighbor.

Let's just say once Cooper found out, he wasn't happy.

On Tuesday, Danville police responded to Seabiscuit Drive for a burglary complaint. The caller was 62-year-old, Mac Douglas Yankey. He helped police find the juvenile male suspect and police arrested that person for receiving stolen property.

As the investigation continued, police were lead back to Yankey's apartment with a search warrant. Inside, they found enough evidence to charge him with Prohibited Use of Electronic Communication System to Procure a Minor for Sex.

Cooper lives a few doors down from Yankey's apartment. HE says he is alarmed by the charge because he has five children.

"It's real alarming when it's this close which you never know. They play around this circle all the time and walk back and forth getting on the bus to school," says Cooper.

While police haven't released the specifics in this case, Cooper is just glad his neighbor is now in jail.
