A Lexington non-profit dedicated to ending intimate partner abuse is getting a makeover.
GreenHouse17, formerly the Bluegrass Domestic Violence Program, revealed its brand change Friday. Leaders say the new logo and name are better representations of their mission.
"We wanted a name that can really capture and reflect the beauty of what it feels like to move from crisis to self-sufficiency," explained GreenHouse17's Darlene Thomas.
The "17" in their name stands for the seventeen Kentucky counties the organization serves.
