Fans pack stadium to watch Cats practice

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - On Friday afternoon, the Kentucky Wildcats hit the court at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. There were some very excited fans there to cheer them on. Many who found their way to North Texas say they're hoping to see the Cats bring home championship number nine.

"We almost sold them and then we said that we really need to go and this is so exciting we have only been here two hours," said Janet McClain, who is UK fan from Madisonville.

Fans also found themselves amazed at AT&T Stadium itself. It's three-million square feet inside, tall enough to sit the Statue of Liberty inside.

"It's amazing. It's the best stadium I've ever been in. It's the biggest scoreboard I've ever seen in my life. It's the best stadium there is" said Russell Johnston, a UK Fan from Ft. Thomas.
