Former Kentucky correctional employee arrested for relationship with inmate


LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Police have arrested another Kentucky prison employee accused of having sexual relations with an inmate.

The latest arrest comes after an investigation at the Blackburn Correctional Facility. Police say the investigation included recorded phone conversations.

48-year-old Burnadette Luttrell was arrested in connection with the investigation after police say phone conversations indicate that she had a sexual relationship with one of the inmates at the Blackburn Correctional Complex while she was an employee there.

Luttrell resigned from her position at the corrections facility in June.

Luttrell is currently being held at the Casey County Detention Center is charged with Rape and Official Misconduct.

Jennifer Wiseman, a former Blackburn Correctional employee, was also arrested last week for allegedly carrying on a sexual relationship with another inmate.
