BOURBON COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - Four workers were hanging tobacco in a barn when one of the rails broke, sending them all to the ground.

It happened around 8:00 Wednesday morning at a barn off of Bethlehem Road in Paris. Firefighters say workers were hanging tobacco in the barn, when the top rail broke.

That caused four men to fall about 25 feet to the ground. Firefighters say the men had rib, leg, back and hip injuries. They were all taken to the Bourbon Community Hospital.

Employees say it's not unusual for workers to accidentally fall while hanging tobacco, but they usually only suffer minor injuries.

Firefighters say none of the workers' injuries seem to be life-threatening.

There's no word on those workers' names or conditions at this time.
