Georgia man arrested with credit card writing device

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Lexington Police say they arrested a man who they claim was making false credit cards.

Police arrested the suspect, Anthony Richard Daniels of Atlanta, GA, at around 6:30 off Bryan Station Road Thursday night.

Police say Daniels was in possession of a credit card encoding device, 6 re-encoded credit cards, several blank gift cards, and over $6,000 in valid gift cards.

Lexington Police also say Daniels was in possession of several hundred compromised credit card numbers which were being stored on his computer.

Daniels is charged with illegally making or embossing credit cards, trafficking financial information, and six counts of criminal possession of forged instruments

His arraignment is set for July 7th.
