Jackknifed semi causes major I-75 backup

FAYETTE COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - Interstate 75 was down to one lane on Monday in Fayette County after a crash.

A semi was jackknifed in the northbound lanes around 11:00 a.m. Monday morning. It all happened about a mile from the Clays Ferry bridge.

No one was hurt, but the crash caused the semi to leak fuel.

It took crews a few hours to get it cleaned up, causing a big backup.

Kentucky State Police confirms that lanes opened back up at 3:00 p.m.
