Jamestown to remain dry after special election

RUSSELL COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - A community near Lake Cumberland in southern Kentucky will remain alcohol free.

People in Jamestown in Russell county voted down restaurant only alcohol sales during a special election on Tuesday.

279 people voted no, 251 voted yes.

The vote was just for the city of Jamestown. All of Russell County now remains dry.
